Etching

I went to a cricut class last night on etching. What an easy and fun craft. I completed a vase/candle holder for my parents' 50th anniversary. Hope you can see it. Now on to some wine glasses for the celebration.

Woohoo

May not look like much but my island is back. That means I am two steps closer to having my cooktop reinstalled. And I'm closer to spaghetti and meatballs.

Crazy Weekend

First, my four year old and I had to go see Thomas the Tank Enigine. We spent over 3 hours there! He was just having such a great time he didn't want to leave. Then it was the local Popcorn Festival where a felllow Silpada Rep and I showed off the best .925 sterling silver jewelry. We met so many nice people and just generally had a great time. I missed 2 soccer games and a baseball game (we went 2 and 1 ) but sometimes you just have to even though it makes me sad when I do. We did fairly well at the 2 day event and hopefully, we will be meeting more great people in the near future. Then sunday night, my DH had to get his Italian Festival fix so off we went for the last hour of their fest. Slim pickings on food but he was happy with his Italian sausage sandwich and the singi. I had a beer.

Beach book for Mom

I completed the BEACH book for mom and it turned out great. I will definitely do one again.

Spider Man

Okay my 4 year old made a funny today that he definitely could not have understood. He has been actively rhyming words these last few weeks and we all think it's hysterical. Anyway, he needed a new toothbrush so off to Kmart we go. He picked the Spider Man Spinbrush (you have to match brothers you know). As we are leaving the parking lot and the Spinbrush is opened and in hand he says "Spider Tarder Man to the rescue." (spelled incorrectly for emphasis)
